Schedule Update
BSA has developed an Annual Health and Medical Record form to replace the old Class 1 & 2 and Class 3 Medical forms. In order to participate in Troop events, this form must be resubmitted annually so that it is not more than one year old. After January 1, 2010, the old forms are not accepted. New Form: BSA Annual Health and Medical Record Form! FAQ’s: http://www.scouting.org/HealthandSafety/Resources/MedicalFormFAQs.aspx Arleeta's Pantry at Woodside UMC provides food for 15 families in the local area. If you have any canned or packaged goods that you can donate, please bring it to any Troop activity and we will be sure it gets to the pantry. A box will be in the Troop room for collections. NOTE FOR TROOP 209 PARENTS Your participation in Troop activities is encouraged and welcome. What's even MORE important is to make sure that you take some basic, brief training on WHAT Scouting is all about. Youth Protection Training is a must, and you can do it online! PLEASE speak with Mr. Scanlan, the Committee Chair, or the Scoutmaster to find out how. A trained "Scouter" is better able to participate, to help other Scouts and to add thoughtful ideas to the Troop Committee planning.
